Spizzy’s Philadelphia Water Ice is a family owned and operated speciality ice cream shop and truck. Our family moved to Georgia from Philadelphia 8 years ago. Wanting to explore our passion for giving back to the community, we decided to invest our time and resources into a water ice truck. We wanted to do something that our young sons would be excited about while allowing our family to get out into the community, meet new people and spread a little joy.

Our recipe comes straight from one of the first water ice manufacturers in Philadelphia, founded in 1969. Unlike the icy, grainy stuff, Spizzy’s water ice is creamy, smooth, and packed with authentic fruit flavors.

One of the most iconic Philadelphia eats, Water Ice, a super premium Italian Ice with a smoother consistency and a more natural tasting flavor, is a must have during the city’s hotter months and even spilling into the fall. Often accompanied by a classic soft pretzel, this cold, refreshing, fat free, cholesterol free and dairy free treat has been enjoyed by Philadelphians for decades.

What is Gelati? No, we don’t mean Gelato. Gelati, is the layering of creamy soft serve and refreshing water ice. Customer can get the best of both worlds by picking their favorite water ice flavors to be layered in between vanilla soft serve ice cream. Not sure you’ll like it?
